Greg Waddell
No intro this week. Iām on an incredible cold streak and I donāt have time for metaphorical pondering, I need to research.
Luckily I just did for CFB. To the picks. Four this week and hey what do you know they are all good teams!
Georgia -10 at Tennessee
This is one of those games you desperately want to be on Tennessee until the game starts and Georgia scores immediately and you remember they are Georgia. I have been on the wrong side of Georgia games all year long. Not anymore. They are a train.
North Carolina +7.5 at Clemson
KEY NUMBER ALERT #1! I get the better quarterback and a touchdown and a half point? Sign me up. UNC has been all over the placeā¦but so has Clemson. Give me that Carolina Blue baby.
Ohio State -27.5 vs. Minnesota
KEY NUMBER ALERT #2! See Georgia section. Itās time to bet on the great team against a completely overmatched team. There is nothing Ryan Day does better than run up the score on horrible opponents. He wants to send a statement before he faces Sherrone Moore.
Washington ML at Oregon State
Donāt even need a key number here. Itās time to believe in Washington. DJ Uiaguleilei is the only thing standing in their way of the CFP? Pleaseā¦.Give me the Huskies big here, may play the alternate line.
Now to my friend who is currently a Winner.
Carter Elliott
I wanted 3-0 so so bad last week folks. I was willing to die for it if need be. Like the great Lebron James says you must strive for greatness and I will not give up until my 3-0 day is achieved. Letās get into it. (sidenote Lebron James is a fake reader of books and I admire that so much)
Arizona -1 vs Utah
It is commendable what Utah has been able to accomplish this year without their star starting QB. But the fact remains that their offense is basically one dimensional which causes it to struggle. And for as good as their defense is in recent weeks it has shown to have some holes in some areas. Arizona is one of the hottest teams in the country and they have been very good at home. With momentum and home field advantage in a pick 'em game I love the Wildcats in this spot.
Washington +1 vs Oregon State
Michael Pennix and Washington have been special this year. Though this game is on the road I think Washington is focused on finishing the year strong and also making a push to get Michael Pennix a Heisman trophy. Oregon Stateās defense is tough but I think that Pennix and the Huskies offense will be able to get enough scores while the defense can rattle DJ U. Take WashingtonĀ
USC -5 vs UCLA
EVERYTIME I TRY TO LEAVE SOMETHING KEEPS PULLING ME BACK ME BACK!!! I know USC has hurt me before this season but I still think this game is two teams that are going into different directions. There are rumors that Chip Kelly will be fired at the end of the season and with their record this team doesn't have much to play for, I just see this as a let down and give up spot for a team that has every reason to do so. Hopefully the firing of Alex Grinch can get USC a few more stops and Caleb Williams can do what he does. Take USC at home to cover.
